Windana provides connected services for more people in need.

We provide services across Victoria for adults and young people experiencing alcohol and other drug harms, family violence, mental health challenges and social disadvantage.

Our Model of Care puts clients at the centre of what we do to create positive change in people's lives. We work with families, communities and other organisations to deliver trauma informed, equitable, culturally safe and integrated services based on evidence and practice wisdom.

By intervening early and creating purposeful partnerships, we help clients achieve improved outcomes while reducing demand on acute services. And we are influencing policy, practice and research to help shape better systems for clients. Together, we influence the broader system for a more positive and connected future.

Is this your next career opportunity?

This position plays a critical role in the provision of effective AOD treatment through comprehensive assessments and counselling including linking clients and their families to other appropriate service types and supporting the provision of holistic, wrap-around services, according to the complexity of client and family needs within a recovery focused framework.

Provide high quality engagement, assessment, treatment and support services to individuals and their families through evidence based, therapeutic counselling and group work.

Provide information, education and practical assistance to clients to help people to reduce the harms of substance use.
Provide clients with exit and post treatment plans to offer them appropriate support to maintain treatment gains.
Maintain comprehensive client documentation and case notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance and capturing relevant details for analysis.
Access the ACSO Community Care Portal to receive, share and update referral information and ensure client data is accurately uploaded to the Client Information Management System.
Maintain Collaborative working relationships with Consortium Agencies.
