Join our team as an Aluminum Fabrication & Installation Specialist, where you’ll take the lead on installing premium European aluminum windows, doors, and entrance systems. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, requiring strong technical skills and the ability to manage site operations effectively.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide a crew of 2–4 installers on residential and light commercial projects
- Review technical drawings and blueprints to plan accurate installations
- Prepare openings and ensure precise alignment through anchoring, shimming, and leveling
- Install advanced aluminum systems, including tilt-turn windows, sliding doors, and curtain wall components
- Apply air and water sealing using membranes, tapes, flashing, and sill pans
- Maintain detailed documentation with photos and quality checklists; communicate progress with clients and project managers
- Promote a safe work environment through toolbox talks and mentoring team members
- Operate specialized equipment such as lifts and spider cranes when certified
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in aluminum fabrication and installation (residential or commercial)
- Strong organizational skills and professional communication with clients and project teams
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, work at heights, and travel throughout Niagara and the GTA
- Valid Ontario G-class driver’s licence with a clean record
- Basic hand tools (specialized tools provided)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with European systems (tilt-turn, lift-slide, curtain wall)
- Certifications such as Working at Heights, WHMIS, MEWP/boom lift, and basic rigging/signaller
- Experience operating boom lifts or spider cranes
- Knowledge of entrance system fabrication
- Additional languages (e.g., Ukrainian, Polish, German)
