We’re not your typical vet clinic. Our focus is to enhance our patient’s quality of life by incorporating nutrition-based therapies, natural remedies, alternative treatments, and a calming, low-stress environment to promote long-term health. Our team believes in providing a unique and individualized approach to patient care, and we’re looking for an assistant who shares that mindset.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on role focused on supporting patient comfort and assisting with holistic care. You’ll be involved in many areas of the clinic, including patient handling, body work, and general clinic support. Responsibilities may include:

• Patient Handling and Comfort – Safely handling and supporting dogs and cats while maintaining a calm, low-stress environment
• Treatment Assistance – Supporting technicians and doctors during treatments and exams
• Body Work and Massage Support – Assisting with or providing basic massage and body work techniques to help improve comfort, mobility, and relaxation
• Computer Tasks – working with veterinary software, maintaining medical records (experience with Avimark preferred)
• Clinic Organization – Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining treatment areas to keep the clinic running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

This role is a great fit for someone who:

• Has experience working with animals (required)
• Has experience or a strong interest in massage therapy, body work, physiotherapy, or similar fields*
• Is comfortable handling dogs and cats, including those who may be anxious or reactive
• Is gentle, patient, and attentive to animal body language
• Loves working as part of a team and takes initiative to help where needed
• Is comfortable being on their feet for much of the day and getting up and down from the floor while assisting patients
• Has a strong work ethic and a positive attitude

*Experience with animal massage or body work is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $19.00-$24.50 per hour
