Since our recently announced merger with both Activ8 Solar Energies & SSE Airtricity. Allbrite Heatpump Specialists Ltd is currently experiencing a period of rapid growth and expansion, securing contracts with local councils, energy providers, and the SEAI.

are actively seeking Apprentice Electricians to assist with the installation and commissioning of heat pump systems.

The Opportunity:

As an apprentice electrician you will work and train alongside experienced electricians, gaining practical experience while completing the electrical apprenticeship programme.

You will assist with the installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance of heat pump systems on residential homes.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of heat pump systems according to safe electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.

• Help prepare the cables for the heat pump power supply.

• Contribute to servicing, repair, and maintenance activities in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, ensuring optimal system performance.

• Help assess and diagnose faults, providing effective solutions to ensure the reliability of heat pump systems.

• Learn how to provide technical assistance to customers regarding their heat pump systems.

• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.

• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Must be eligible for registration with SOLAS as an Electrical Apprentice.

• Keen interest in electrical work and technology.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to follow technical instructions and work well in a team.

• Physically capable of performing manual tasks and working at heights or in confined spaces.

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.

• Prior exposure to electrical or construction work would be advantageous (summer work or work experience)

• National travel may be required occasionally.
