Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. As an Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, learning essential skills and techniques while contributing to the overall success of our service department.
Duties
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles using various tools and equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles.
- Support senior technicians in performing complex repairs, including engine work, brake systems, and electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with heavy lifting and automotive machinery.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge with a strong interest in automotive repair.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the automotive industry.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repair tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn from experienced technicians and take direction effectively.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience or coursework in automotive technology is a plus but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
