Arborist Apprentice

Evergreen LTD is hiring an Arborist Apprentice to learn about professional tree care and support our certified arborists to complete services in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. Arborists offer highly sought after services and are accredited tradespeople who undergo ongoing and rigorous safety and tree health training. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with tree services including tree planting, pruning, removal, fertilizing, etc
• Site clean up and removal of debris into chippers and trailers
• Friendly and clear communication with customers, employees and Evergreen Ltd. staff
• High emotional Intelligence is expected to ensure a positive team work (No exceptions.)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Experience working in Arboriculture or a related field is an asset
• Customer service experience
• Desire to become an ISA Certified Arborist
• Class 5 Driver's License
• Reliable Vehicle
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Safety First mentality in everything you do
• Flexibility to work dynamic hours (varying start and end times)

Compensation

• $21.20 - $28.20/hr based on skills, experience and qualifications
• Health benefits after 12 months of employment
