Due to continued growth, Sofrimar is currently recruiting a reliable and safety-conscious Artic Driver to join our team. Reporting directly to the Transport Planner, this role involves collecting fresh seafood from key ports and suppliers along Ireland’s East Coast and delivering to our processing facility in Kilmore Quay.

We have since grown to become a trusted supplier, exporting high-quality seafood to leading European and Asian markets. As we continue to expand, we are offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect seafood from various suppliers and ports along the East Coast
• Deliver produce safely and efficiently to Sofrimar's facility in Kilmore Quay
• Follow collection and delivery schedules as directed by the Transport Planner
• Complete all required paperwork and logs accurately and on time
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained
• Adhere to all road safety and company policies at all times
• Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents promptly

What We’re Looking For

• Full, clean driver’s licence essential; up to date CPCs and ability to operate a moffett
• Previous experience in an Artic driving role preferred (multi-drop or food collection an advantage)
• Strong focus on safety, punctuality, and reliability
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings as required
• Experience in seafood or food transport is a plus
• Basic English – spoken and written – required for logs and communication
