Role Overview
As an Assembly Technician, you will report to our WA Assembly Manager and work with an existing team in our WA facility. Your responsibilities will involve utilising both hand and power tools to ensure the precise and timely completion of farm machinery.
Major Responsibilities
- Assemble parts for agricultural seeding and tillage machines to manufacturers specifications, including mechanical, hydraulic and electric components
- Ensure that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions
- Perform field tests of assembled equipment
- Utilise hand tools and workshop equipment proficiently.
- Perform field and workshop tests to manufacturers specifications before dispatch to customers
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during the assembly process.
- Estimate material costs and quantities, and machine requirements for assembly
- Collect and analyse data and undertake complex computations and prepare subsequent assembly diagrams
- Organise and supervise inspection and maintenance of assembled machines and workshop plant and equipment.

- Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Display a keen interest and genuine passion for manufacturing and processes.
- Enthusiastic about continuous learning and growth in a dynamic role.
- Willingness to learn and enjoy hands-on work.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
- Auto electric or mechanical experience is advantageous. A trade certificate is an advantage but not required as is previous experience in an assembly position
Remuneration
You will be rewarded with a generous annual base salary of at least $74,000 + Super however the salary package offered will be based on experience. The position is a full time position and will be based at our Bentley Site in Perth.

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
