The Council has an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic Asset Information Officer - Data Quality Support to join our Asset Information Management Team in the Finance Unit. This is a 6 month 40 hours per week fixed-term position based in Rangiora, North Canterbury.
The successful applicant will ensure that asset information is accurately captured and reconciled with the appropriate Council systems (Technology One and ArcGIS Pro). You will be part of the team that is responsible for maintaining the council-wide asset information management methodology, processes, standards, and you will work with a team dedicated to delivering outstanding service to customers both inside and outside the Council.
Knowledge or experience with construction as-builts and GIS systems will be an advantage. Applicants will be highly motivated team players with a "can-do" attitude, a good eye for detail, and a solutions-focused mindset demonstrating a pragmatic approach. Having outstanding communication and computer skills is essential as is the ability to prioritize workloads.
