THE ROLE:

The Assistant Counter Manager is a key support to the Counter Manager and an Ambassador of the brand’s uniqueness, actively contributing to Clarins’ “unlimited” customer attention. She/he/they attends to customers, listens to their needs, delivers relevant beauty advice, and helps build strong, trusting relationships, ensuring each client feels valued and cared for.

The Assistant Counter Manager supports the daily management of the counter, contributes to achieving sales and service objectives, and plays an active role in motivating the team. She/he/they leads by example on the shop floor, supports the execution of counter plans and initiatives, and ensures Clarins standards are consistently applied in the absence of the Counter Manager.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support the Counter Manager in achieving sales targets and retail objectives
  • Support daily counter operations, including stock management, administration, and compliance
  • Maintain visual merchandising and POS standards
  • Ensure the counter consistently reflects the Clarins brand image
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience in line with the Clarins CARE Selling Ceremony
  • Use strong product knowledge to offer tailored product combinations and alternatives
  • Support the Counter Manager in motivating the team to achieve productivity and service goals
  • Lead by example through professionalism, service excellence, and brand behaviours
  • Represent Clarins values at all times
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to grow the counter’s client base
  • Contribute to personal and overall counter performance, including new launches and commercial initiatives

YOU HAVE:

  • Background in Sales
  • People management and development experience that can empower others
  • Excellent selling skills
  • Ability to act strong as a professional leader for Brand and its values
  • Open mind and like exploring new opportunities and taking initiative
  • Ability to create and interpret business data and targets and how to achieve
  • English Knowledge
