Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management
  • Supervise daily shift activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to service standards
  • Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food handling, cooking techniques, POS system operation (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and customer service excellence
  • Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and ensure optimal stock levels for food production and supplies
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and preparing financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and dining areas
  • Support hiring efforts by interviewing candidates and participating in staff onboarding and performance evaluations
  • Inventory and ordering

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
  • Demonstrated skills in staff training, team management, and leadership within a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage shift responsibilities efficiently
  • Experience working in casual dining, fine dining, hotel restaurants or catering environments is highly desirable
