Assistant-Manager
As an Assistant Manager, you actively support the daily management of the store by acting as the right hand to the Store Manager. Present both on the sales floor and behind the scenes, you help ensure smooth operations and motivate the team around performance goals. Through your rigor, leadership, and organizational skills, you foster a structured, motivating work environment focused on the customer experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO EVERY DAY
- Assist the Store Manager in coordinating daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Support sales targets by monitoring key performance indicators and participating in the implementation of action plans.
- Participate in inventory management and strictly enforce merchandising and visual guidelines.
- Help plan and adjust work schedules according to operational and budgetary needs.
- Perform cash management tasks, including transaction verifications and deposits, following established procedures.
- Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Support human resources activities such as onboarding, training, team engagement, and conflict management in collaboration with the Store Manager.
- Ensure health and safety standards are applied, raise team awareness, and assist in incident management.
- Maintain effective communication between the store team and management.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Minimum of 2 years experience in supervision or management assistance in retail.
- High school diploma required.
- Strong understanding of sales, customer service, merchandising, and loss prevention.
- Ability to manage store operations and make decisions autonomously in the Manager’s absence.
- Experience in team management, including training, engagement, and talent development.
- Excellent communication skills with both team members and customers.
- Effective organization and priority management in a dynamic environment.
- Interest in interior decorating and fashion.

YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS
- Full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week).
- Variable schedule including day and evening shifts, holidays, and weekend availability as needed.
- Positive, collaborative work atmosphere focused on team development.
- Presence required during busy periods (promotions, sales, inventories, seasonal changes).
- Prolonged standing and participation in physical store tasks.
- Regular handling of loads up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Frequent movements: bending, stretching, climbing ladders or step stools for merchandising and customer service.
