Assistant Manager – MORSO
Dublin city centre | Full-time | €36,000–€38,000, depending on experience
MORSO is a busy sandwich shop serving fresh schiacciata, made-to-order sandwiches and good ingredients. We’re looking for a hands-on assistant manager who enjoys a fast service and knows how to keep a team organised when the queue builds.
You’ll work alongside the manager to run the shop day to day and take charge of shifts when they’re off. This is a working role: you’ll be on the counter, helping the team, keeping service moving and making sure every sandwich goes out right.
What you’ll do:
- Lead busy lunch services and keep the team focused and organised.
- Train and support counter staff, set clear standards and deal with issues as they come up.
- Keep an eye on stock, prep levels and waste so we’re ready for service.
- Handle opening and closing, cash procedures and daily handovers.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and customer service.
- Work closely with the kitchen team and manager to improve how the shop runs.
We’d like to meet someone who has supervised or managed a busy café, sandwich shop, restaurant or similar food business. You need to be calm under pressure, comfortable giving direction and happy to get stuck in with the team. Experience handling a high-volume lunch rush matters more to us than a fancy job title.
The role is full-time, working around 40 hours a week.
Pay: €36,000.00-€38,000.00 per year
