In the role of the Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional services within our facility. Reporting to the General Manager, you will utilize your core skills to assist in staff training, management, customer service, planning and implementing new programs.

Assist with staff management:

• Supervise staff to ensure daily needs of the facility are being met.
• Review daily schedule and adjust as needed.
• Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean and operational manner throughout the day.
• Work special events and tournaments.
• Perform administrative duties and other miscellaneous projects and duties, as assigned.
• Ideal candidate is responsible, reliable, has excellent oral/written communication skills, and has proven ability in conflict-resolution situations.

Prior experience in management is required. Customer service background is highly preferred. The assistant manager will work collaboratively with management and team members. This is a full-time position requiring evening and weekend availability.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or recreation/sports management preferred.
• At least 1 year of managing a reception desk and/or sales team.
• 2 years formal leadership experience and customer service experience.
• Proven ability to manage in a quickly changing environment and make quick decisions that will benefit the business.
• Willing to be on the front lines, helping the team as needed including cleaning, answering the phones, and managing customers.
• Self-motivated, organized, able to work with minimal supervision, and complete work in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
