We have a fantastic new vacancy for an Assistant Night Manager in the Grafton Hotel.

The 4-star Grafton Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Dublin city center, making it the perfect location for a city break, business meeting or a family getaway.

Objective of the Role

To provide excellent service to our guests by assisting the Front Office Team throughout the night shift in relation to hotel and guest security, reception duties as well as maintaining our high standards of cleanliness & sanitisation throughout the hotel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervisory experience in front office or nights in a hotel advantagous.
• Great communication skills so you can chat to our guests providing a great welcome and departure.
• Flexibility– to enjoy working night shifts.
• Ability to recognise what our customers need before they ask for it.
• Good people skills – to work well in a team because we want work to be fun
• Have a genuine interest in serving guests.
• Confidence with front office systems and taking payments, you will be completing the night audit balancing the days business.
• To be organised and able to work well under pressure at times and multi task in a fast paced environment.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints.
• Although never working alone you need to be able to work independently with small team along side you.
• To be responsible and trustworthy, you will be responsible for all of the guests in house, their safety as well as your own and the teams.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the hospitality industry.
• The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team.
• A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
• Previous experience using Opera Cloud is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €32,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
