AJT Construction, Inc. is an elite exterior renovator, located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our team has received national recognition for elite quality and customer experience. We are actively searching for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team.
Position Purpose: The Assistant Project Manager position will be responsible for supporting field teams by; material tracking, assisting Project Manager, checking for safety and reviewing worksite for cleanliness. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the AJT materials shop and oversee inventory orders.
- Responsible for tool and inventory check out/check in.
- Support field teams with materials and tools needed for project.
- Organize receipts and coding by job name.
- Work in tandem with Project Manager for day-to-day logistics of project including staging and close out.
- Create a clean and safe environment for the team and homeowners.
- Collect all material returns; document with photos and return to supplier.
- Transport trailers as part of close out (once fully trained).
- Personal responsibilities: take progress photos, clean truck, and equipment, take notes during each project.
- Task by task team communication, via text and Asana (project management app).
Qualification & Skills:Preferred (but not required) 1-3 years of experience working in and around the construction industry.
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Good customer skills.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be able to work early mornings and nights (based on project needs).
Hours, Work Environment & Physical Demands: This is a full-time hourly position and pay will be discussed with candidate based on experience. The hours will vary with each project, but generally the expected available hours are 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (M F).
Pay: $20.00 per hour
