We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at a newly renovated 60-unit apartment community. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional resident service.
Position Responsibilities
- Lease apartments and achieve occupancy goals.
- Provide outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents.
- Post rental payments accurately and maintain resident ledgers.
- Assist with rent collections and delinquency follow-up.
- Prepare lease agreements, renewals, notices, and resident correspondence.
- Maintain resident files and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders and make-ready units.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and conduct apartment tours.
- Assist the Reginal Property Manager with daily operations and administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of apartment management experience.
- Proven leasing and sales experience.
- Experience posting rent payments and handling resident accounts.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with property management software (AppFolio experience is a plus).
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
