Assistant Property Manager job opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at a newly renovated 60-unit apartment community. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional resident service.

Position Responsibilities

Lease apartments and achieve occupancy goals.
Provide outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents.
Post rental payments accurately and maintain resident ledgers.
Assist with rent collections and delinquency follow-up.
Prepare lease agreements, renewals, notices, and resident correspondence.
Maintain resident files and ensure compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders and make-ready units.
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and conduct apartment tours.
Assist the Reginal Property Manager with daily operations and administrative duties.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of apartment management experience.
Proven leasing and sales experience.
Experience posting rent payments and handling resident accounts.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with property management software (AppFolio experience is a plus).
Ability to multitask and work independently.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
