You will be directly involved in scoping and delivery of client projects for large national and multinational companies across several industry sectors. This will include responsibility for managing complex client projects, with support from the team lead for Climate Change & Net-Zero Strategy. You will be encouraged to develop your skills and expertise, as well as your own professional network, internally and externally.
Lead & Deliver Climate Strategy work in Australia
We’re looking for a driven Associate Consultant to join our Climate Change & Net-Zero Strategy services in Sydney or Melbourne, while also supporting clients across Asia-Pacific. You’ll be a core member of our climate advisory services in Australia – building client relationships, leading projects, and driving growth.
You’ll work across APAC, delivering practical, high-quality solutions for clients in:
- Aligning with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS).
- Climate risk and scenario analysis
- GHG emissions accounting (Scopes 1, 2 & 3)
- Net-zero and decarbonisation strategy
- Renewable energy and fleet transition planning
What you’ll do
- Deliver Projects : Manage end-to-end delivery of climate strategy projects, ensuring quality, insight, and impact.
- Inspire Teams : Mentor junior consultants, manage project teams, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Support Growth : Support business development through growing client relationships, contributing to marketing activities, and leading proposal development.
- Shape Solutions : Develop service offerings aligned with market needs and regulatory trends.
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years’ experience in climate change, sustainability, or related fields
- Proven expertise in some of, and knowledge of all of:
- Climate risk assessments & scenario analysis
- GHG accounting (including Scope 3)
- Net-zero, carbon neutral and other sustainability frameworks (including SBTi)
- Decarbonisation strategy and implementation roadmaps
- A thorough understanding of the core requirements of the ASRS, as well as the TCFD recommendations and IFRS S2.
- Demonstrable experience in business development, client growth, and winning work.
- Ability to distil quantitative and qualitative data and communicate it succinctly to clients.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
