Authentic Indian Chef

Restaurant Shezan is seeking an experienced and passionate Indian Chef to join our culinary team in central Copenhagen. We specialize in authentic North Indian and Punjabi cuisine and aim to provide our guests with a genuine taste of India in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.

As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing traditional Indian dishes from scratch using fresh ingredients and authentic spices. You must have in-depth knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, especially tandoori, curries, biryanis, and naan bread preparation.

Prepare and cook authentic Indian meals, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes

Handle tandoor oven and traditional Indian cooking equipment

Ensure high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety

Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize food waste

Work closely with kitchen and service staff to deliver a seamless dining experience

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Chef (preferably in a professional kitchen abroad or in India)

Specialization in Traditional Indian cuisine

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Culinary education or certification is a plus but not mandatory

It would be an advantage if you are already resident in Denmark

A full-time position with a stable work schedule
