Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and a strong background in bodywork, ensuring that vehicles are restored to their original condition. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening and panel replacement
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine repair needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of automotive parts as needed
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar mechanic role is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to auto body work
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and installations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all tasks performed
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
