Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, with a strong emphasis on quality workmanship. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and customer expectations.

Duties

• Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
• Utilize welding techniques to repair or replace damaged metal components.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete repairs.
• Assess vehicle damage and provide accurate auto estimating for repair costs.
• Work with sheet metal to fabricate parts as needed for repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive repair or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in welding, power tools, hand tools, and auto painting techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and restoration processes is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
