Anmar Mechanical & Electrical Contractors are looking for an Automotive Apprentice to join our shop! The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and strong willingness to learn!

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years experience as an automotive apprentice.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Valid Class G Driver's License.
  • Registered (or eligible to register) as and Automotive Apprentice
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Duties

  • Assist licensed technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Perform routine services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake servicing, and fluid checks.
  • Support diagnostic procedures using scan tools and manufacturer software under supervision.
  • Assist with engine, transmission, steering, and suspension repairs as skill level increases.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and road tests with supervision.
  • Accurately document work performed, parts used, and time spent on repairs.
  • Follow shop policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines at all times.
  • Maintain tolls, shop equipment, and a clean and organized work area.
  • Participate in on-the-job training, apprenticeship schooling, and safety meetings.
  • Assist with shop organization, inventory checks, and parts handling.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.75-$40.00 per hour
