We are currently looking to hire a qualified NEW CAR SALES CONSULTANT to our team at CMP AUTOMOTIVE (one of the largest GM dealers in Canada). As one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies, we are always looking to expand and grow our business.

Previous automotive experience is not a must, as we want to train you how to be a top performer from the ground up. If you are humble, motivated, smart, and dedicated you be promoted, its not a matter of if, more of when, just like all of the managers we have from Finance managers to General Manager who all started as Sales Consultants.

The Role:

Reporting to the Sales Managers, the Automotive Sales Consultant will be responsible for building professional relationships with customers through simple communication and rapport building. As an ambassador to the store, they will be professional, approachable, honest, and friendly. The individual must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and be driven by personal success & development.

Basic Day to Day:

  • Conduct business in an open, honest, helpful manner with integrity and transparency.
  • Sourcing new clients by Prospecting: Cold calls, social media, service drive through appointments, referrals, and when fully trained: e-leads and walk-ins
  • Answer and provide customers with desired information requested in a timely fashion via in person meetings, over the phone, email, or text.
  • Build and nurture customer relations and maintain your clients afterwards.
