Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the automotive service department
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Schedule and assign work to automotive technicians and service advisors
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of automotive parts and supplies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of parts and supplies
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive service management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including transmission, brakes, suspension, and engines
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team of technicians and service advisors
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of tire service, shocks/struts, air brakes, oil changes, diesel engine repair, and wheel alignment is a plus
