Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Perform repairs and maintenance on automobiles and trucks
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively
• Repair or replace components such as belts, hoses, brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and professionally

Experience

• Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic with dealership experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, or similar industrial machinery
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and farm machinery maintenance is advantageous
• Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and industrial maintenance practices
• Prior experience working with Caterpillar or other heavy-duty equipment is a plus
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for various repair tasks
• Customer service experience is desirable to ensure positive interactions with clients

This role requires a dedicated professional with diverse technical skills capable of handling complex repairs while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Pay: $31.00-$50.00 per hour
