The Opportunity
Soneil Spark is launching a new commercial AC charging product line and is seeking an experienced B2B Account Executive to lead its market expansion across Canada and the United States.
This is a high-impact, ownership-driven role suited for a sales professional who has successfully sold technical, hardware-based, or infrastructure solutions into commercial markets. The successful candidate will own the full sales cycle, build strategic customer relationships, and directly influence go-to-market strategy as the business scales.
This position is office-based at Soneil Spark’s Brampton, Ontario headquarters and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, as well as travel to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a defined commercial sales territory across Canada and the United States
- Build and manage a robust pipeline for commercial AC EV charging solutions
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting and solution design through contract execution and expansion
- Engage senior decision-makers, engineers, and technical stakeholders using a consultative, value-based approach
- Present and demonstrate Soneil Spark’s commercial charging products and upgrade packages
- Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and delivery
- Represent Soneil Spark at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
- Provide market intelligence on customer needs, competitor activity, and industry trends
- Contribute customer feedback to product development and sales strategy
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
- Build an initial qualified pipeline of commercial opportunities
- Close early adopter customers for the new AC commercial product line
- Help establish repeatable sales processes and contribute to the commercial sales playbook
Qualifications
Required
- Five or more years of B2B sales experience selling technical, hardware-based, or infrastructure solutions
- Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles (six months or longer)
- Experience selling to commercial customers such as property developers, fleet operators, dealerships, or energy or electrical firms
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly organized with experience using CRM systems
- Ability and willingness to travel within Canada and the United States
- Self-motivated, execution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Experience in EV charging, clean energy, electrical systems, or power infrastructure
- Experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts
- Prior experience in a high-growth or start-up environment
