What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing and baking a variety of bread, rolls, and pastries fresh each day.
• Checking ingredient quality, weighing, mixing, kneading, shaping, and preparing dough.
• Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times to ensure perfect results.
• Decorating cakes and pastries with icing, cream, and glazes.
• Keeping baking equipment clean and sanitized for the next shift.
• Assisting with inventory, ingredient storage, and ordering supplies.
• Ensuring all baked goods meet food safety and quality standards.
• Occasionally assisting customers with orders and providing friendly service.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualification/ work experience: The candidate should have either of the following:

- NZQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent or higher OR

- At least three years of relevant experience.

• Passion for baking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced bakery environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to be part of a friendly and hardworking team.
