Getting to the Osprey : Free onsite parking for staff . Using public transport , the bus will leave you just a short walk away from the hotel. Using the train , you can hop on the feeder bus into Naas from the Sallins train station and this will leave you with just a short walk to the hotel.
The Role
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Bar Person to join our dedicated team on a fixed-term contract for the busy summer season. This role involves working behind the bar, delivering a high standard of guest service while building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude and a flexible approach to work, contributing as part of our friendly and energetic team. Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service are essential.
The ideal candidate will be fully flexible and available to work both weekdays and weekends. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

Duties will include:
- Maintaining the bar and service areas in a clean, hygienic and welcoming manner.
- Preparing and serving drinks to a high standard.
- Providing exceptional service for every guest.
- Demonstrate full knowledge of all items on menu
- Stocking up bar and preparing for service
- Clearing down after service
- Handling various payment methods
Applicants must be 18 years or over due to licensing laws. This is a fixed-term seasonal position, commencing mid-April and concluding at the end of August
About The Role
The ideal candidate for this position:
- An excellent command of the English language is essential
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Mixology training desirable but not essential
- Enthusiasm, passion and interest in their work and what they do.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to embrace change, to learn and to adapt to new methods/systems.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to Multitasking.
