Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, possess strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and be adept at creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a professional who can efficiently manage bar operations, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued. The successful candidate will be responsible for mixing drinks, serving guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area while providing an outstanding experience to all patrons.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age requirements.
• Assist with event setups such as banquets or catering functions as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff or event coordinators to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Stay informed about new drink recipes, brewing techniques, and industry trends to enhance guest experience.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong skills in time management, sales, and customer service are essential for success in this role.
• Knows English and Spanish
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and responsible alcohol service is required.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and general restaurant math are necessary.
