We are seeking a Bilingual Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic Sales team at Scaffold-Fast (Ottawa).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Give excellent customer service to walk in clients
• Manage and grow relationships with current and potential clients
• Acquire new clients through solicitation, cold calls and emails
• Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals
• Learn and master your knowledge on scaffolding and swing stage equipment
• Process invoices, contracts, generate quotes, conduct follow ups, take payments, and process refunds
• Keep detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions
• Open new customer accounts and update existing ones

Tools you will work with

• Moneris (payment system)
• Texada (inventory system)
• MS Office

Experience

• Prior experience in customer service, sales, service counter with a company construction, auto shop, parts shop, or similar setting.
• Some experience in the construction industry (in any capacity)

Qualifications

• College diploma or certificate
• Fluently bilingual – French & English
• friendly, outgoing, goal-oriented

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am to 4:30pm

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

Education:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• French (required)
