Bindery Specialist This person is responsible for operating all of the bindery equipment in an efficient and accurate manner. Good organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy are required. The quality of output is essential. Responsibilities Daily  Produces jobs in the order determined by the Production Scheduler  Checks due dates for all orders  Informs Production Scheduler of any due date problems  Ensures order accuracy  Tests cut on a sample before cutting entire job  Produces cutting diagram and tests cut sample before cutting job  Completes Quality Assurance documents for each job  Checks orders for quality and completeness before packaging and returning to customers  Lists supplies needed and gives to the Production Scheduler/Manager  Operates equipment safely and in accordance with equipment instructions  Cleans and organizes bindery area throughout the day  Notifies Owner/Production Manager of equipment needing service Ongoing, as needed  Restocks bindery department  Accurately counts bindery inventory on the last day of the month  Performs weekly maintenance on bindery equipment  Cleans folder rollers as needed  Replaces cutter blade as needed, keeps a sharpened blade on hand  Sharpens 3-hole drill bit  Maintains cleanliness under equipment and carts  Helps train employees on bindery equipment  Assists other departments/completes special jobs as required Qualifications  Experience with table top folders, collators, booklet makers, cutter, drill, stitcher and book-binding equipment preferred  Attention

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
