Description:
The Role:
As a Boilermaker Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople, supporting the maintenance and fabrication of machinery, structures, and equipment across the farm. You will gain practical skills in welding, metal fabrication, mechanical fitting, and general maintenance while learning all aspects of farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist experienced tradespeople with welding, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.

Support preventative and reactive maintenance of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.

Operate hand tools and power tools safely under supervision.

Conduct basic inspections and assist with equipment maintenance.

Perform general farm and grounds duties, including cleaning, mowing, and equipment upkeep.

Follow workplace health and safety requirements and participate in training.

A keen interest in metal fabrication, welding, and machinery maintenance

Willingness to learn and work hard in a hands-on environment

Reliable, organised, and safety-conscious

Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Basic computer skills an advantage but not essential

Qualifications:
Must be eligible to commence a formal apprenticeship (First Year)

Forklift or Driver’s License is a plus but not essential

First Aid Certificate is desirable but not essential
