As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and record all financial transactions for the restaurant, including daily sales, expenses, and payroll.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
• Reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Assist with monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with the restaurant management team to analyze financial performance and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting software.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting assistant, or similar role, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Myob, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Knowledge of restaurant-specific financial operations is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

• Bachelor Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

• Bookkeeping: 1 year (Required)
• MYOB: 1 year (Preferred)
