Responsibilities

• Record and categorize financial transactions accurately using accounting software such as QuickBooks, or Sage
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to verify account balances against bank statements.
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with payroll processing, ensuring employee wages are accurate and compliant with regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports on financial activities, including account reconciliation summaries and budget tracking.
• Support budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and insights for decision-making.

Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform account analysis accurately.
• Knowledge of general accounting practices and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy in a part-time schedule.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external vendors.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
