Zen Events is looking for a part time bookkeeper/accounts administrator

Candidates will be required to complete the following tasks.

Preparation of bookkeeping records including sales, purchases and bank transactions
Processing and payment of Invoices
Taking Payments
Creditors/Debtors/Bank Reconciliations
Preparing and submission of VAT returns
PAYE reconciliations
Preparing and posting month end journals
Preparation of accounts to trial balance
Processing payroll
Invoicing Clients
Chasing Debts
Issuing Statements
Budgeting
Familiarity with Sage and Bright pay would be an advantage
Other ad-hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate:

At least 3 years' experience in a general account's role
Previous experience in a bookkeeping/payroll role
Knowledge of accounting software
Knowledge of the Irish tax system
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to work to and manage deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership on the role
Excellent organisational and communications skills essential]
Rate: €15-20ph on experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €15.00-€20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week

Education:

Advanced/Higher Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)
