Overview
We are seeking a skilled Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating brake machinery. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality metal components that meet strict specifications. The Brake Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure efficiency and accuracy in the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Operate brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the appropriate bending processes.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to assemble parts and components as needed.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment Is preferred but willing to train.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery is preferred.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
