Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide expert guidance on cannabis products, including flowers, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain usage instructions to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction
• Assist customers with their purchases using the POS (Point of Sale) system, handling transactions accurately and efficiently
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
• Perform stock replenishment tasks, including inventory checks and stocking shelves to ensure product availability
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, offering product insights, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar retail environment
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Experience in supervising or leading team members is preferred but not required
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Knowledge of cannabis products, industry regulations, and responsible consumption practices is advantageous
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
