Business Analyst - Associate- Software Engineering
We’re seeking someone to join our Institutional Securities Technology team as a Business Analyst, in Advisory & Sales Distribution to join our team in Research Technology. This role involves conducting both technical and functional analysis of platforms and applications, documenting the current state and future state, and driving collaboration across multiple teams, including development, architecture, QA, and subject matter experts. The position requires complete ownership of design documentation, encompassing functional specifications, technical and functional process flows, technical architecture, data flows, and integration specifications. Act as bridge between technology and business strategy, play an important role in driving our GenAI projects and programs
You will participate in design discussions and work closely with key stakeholders to document and develop solutions for complex business problems. The role demands proactive communication and extensive follow-ups to gather the necessary details for timely delivery. Developing technical solutions begins with defining, analyzing, and documenting requirements, and managing these requirements at the project level to ensure business needs are met.

This is Associate position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you’ll do in the role:
- 6+ years of experience working as Technical Business Analyst
- Experience in leading Agile teams and managing cross-functional collaboration. Skilled in sprint planning, backlog management, and effective stakeholder communication.
- Generative AI & Machine Learning Fundamentals: Ability to understand GenAI technologies and translate technical concepts into business requirements.
- Product Strategy & Use Case Definition: Skilled in identifying AI-driven use cases and aligning them with business goals.
- User Experience & Iterative Design Thinking: Familiarity with GenAI UX patterns and iterative product development based on user feedback.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Experience in MS office, MS Visio, SharePoint, Jira, confluence tool, Rally
- Develop, test and annotate prompts for our GenAI products and functionality.
- Understanding of AI concepts and tools, the ability to author and test prompts for AI Models
- Financial Services Industry experience (preferred)
- Effective listener, speaker, reader and writer - able to bridge business and technical domains, promote best practices, and enforce good governance within challenging timeline
- Hands-on familiarity with automation and scripting practices (e.g., Python) and CI/CD concepts to coordinate with engineering and QA.
- Experience leading deployments of AI products across large global Enterprises or similar LLM-based solutions; strong understanding of generative AI concepts
- Bachelors or Master's in Computer Science, Information Management or another relevant field
