Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technological solutions by analyzing data, designing processes, and supporting project initiatives. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and innovative solutions, utilizing a broad skill set including data analysis, project management, and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis.
• Develop detailed reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel VBA to visualize key metrics.
• Support project management activities within Agile frameworks, ensuring timely delivery of solutions aligned with SDLC best practices.
• Design and optimize databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis using SQL, R, Python, and Bash (Unix shell) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Collaborate with technical teams on database design, system integration, and application development.
• Create process models and diagrams using Visio to illustrate workflows and system architecture.
• Assist in the development of analytics models to support business strategies and operational improvements.
• Participate in analysis of system requirements for new projects or enhancements, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Skills

• Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI for data visualization.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Experience with SDLC processes for software development lifecycle management.
• Programming skills in R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell).
• Expertise in database management systems including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Solid knowledge of business analysis techniques and tools such as Visio.
• Data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.
• Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling techniques.
• Excellent analysis skills to synthesize information from multiple sources into clear insights. Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
