Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?

The Business Application Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning and availability of core software applications by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolving issues. This involves ITSM proactive monitoring, timely response to incidents, continuous improvement of processes, and effective communication with stakeholders to minimize downtime and maximize user satisfaction

Your responsibilities will be as follows:


Incident Management & Troubleshooting:

  • Acknowledge, categorize, and prioritize incoming incidents and requests in the ITSM system
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of incidents and resolutions
  • Resolve incidents within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or escalate appropriately

Business Application Support:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of business applications and their usage
  • Provide daily IT support and clear analysis of application-related issues
  • Establish strong relationships with business users to understand their needs and improve support

Proactive System Monitoring & Improvement:

  • Identify and escalate potential system issues to prevent business disruptions
  • Suggest and support process improvements and technology upgrades
  • Maintain compliance with best practices, security policies, and industry regulation

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including IT teams and business users.
  • Provide regular progress reports on incident resolution and system performance.
  • Share knowledge and support continuous learning within the IT team.
  • Providing day to day IT business support and progress reports to our internal clients related to business applications and IT technical issues


Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Business Application Support Analyst?

  • Minimum 3-5 years in insurance or financial services;
  • Experience in a similar application support role;
  • Solid understanding of IT landscapes, as well as its business applications;
  • Troubleshooting techniques;
  • Knowledge of SQL language is an asset;
  • Being able to interpret data;
  • Log analysis reviewing, interpreting, and understanding logs generated by systems, networks, and applications (Pattern Recognition, Anomaly Detection, Root Cause Analysis…);
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management systems (e.g., ServiceNow) is a plus;
  • ITIL Foundation, SCRUM, Agile certification (or equivalent) is an asset;
  • Training and understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, DORA, CAA, CSSF);
  • Familiarity with incident management methodologies (e.g., 5W);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English;
  • French, German, and Luxembourgish are advantageous;
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach;
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
