Business Controller

As a Finance Platforms ’ B usiness Controller, you will lead hands on AI/ML technical development on finance reporting & data platforms, including, as example, our key systems/ platforms like OneStream, Snowflake & Azure . Y ou will also e nsur e stability , performance, and accuracy of top management reporting across various platforms and PBI dashboards. Your role is key in identifying opportunities for efficiency increase s & automation and fostering innovation in financ ial reporting & advanced analytics area . This position requires advanced, practical expertise in leading-edge finance solutions and the application of AI/ML technologies within group finance reporting and analytics . However, we also encourage applications from emerging talents having curiosity and interest on emerging technologies , who may not yet have extensive work experience with these topics .

Your responsibilities

• Lead “ end to end ” ML / AI Forecast technical development process, including validation, and deployment of ML models for forecasting, classification, and business impact analysis based on Group Controlling roadmap.

• Ensuring stability, performance, and accuracy of top management reporting across various platforms and PBI reports

• Lead the process of b uild ing and develop ing relational databases for finance reporting using tools like Azure Data Factory , Snowflake , SQL and DBT .

• Optimize data processes & models and DAX queries for PBI reporting performance and usability.

• Ensure the integrity and security of data pipelines, reporting systems, and financial models with our data teams .

• Lead selected cross-functional teams in finance, operations, IT, and data to deliver high-impact projects and digitalisation initiatives.

• Represent the finance IT function in group-wide projects, including service ownership for key platforms

• Participate in major finance transformation projects, including automation, digitalisation, and process re-engineering.
  

What you bring

• Interest and curiosity of emerging technologies with a proactive approach to implementing relevant advancements.

• Extensive experience with cloud-based ML/AI platforms, such as Snowflake and Databricks

• Demonstrated success in implementing AI/ML solutions within group finance environments

• Proficient in developing and evaluating ML forecasting models

• Experience incorporating LLMs to complex workflows ( Azure AI foundry, Power Automate AI …)

• Proven w orking knowledge of group consolidation systems (e.g., OneStream, HFM )

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide guidance to colleague

• Ability to analyse and resolve issues independently while providing guidance to colleagues .

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to convey technical topics clearly for multiple audiences.

• MSc or BBA Degree in Economics , Data Sciences or other similar qualifications

• 3 -5 + years of experience in business controlling within a global group environmen t
