Business Development Associate – Legal Services

Location

Gurugram / NCR (Work from Office)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Associate to support the growth of our legal and allied professional services. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and coordinating with internal legal teams for successful client onboarding and servicing.

The role requires excellent communication skills, commercial understanding, and the ability to engage with corporates, financial institutions, startups, and other potential clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for legal and professional services.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, corporates, banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, and business partners.
  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and client pitches with senior management and legal teams.
  • Understand client requirements and propose suitable legal/service solutions.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, engagement summaries, and follow-up communications.
  • Maintain client databases, MIS reports, and sales pipeline records.
  • Support branding, marketing, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding and execution of assignments.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in same field or related field.
  • Prior experience in legal services, consulting, insurance, banking, fintech, or professional services shall be preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and professional email communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.

Compensation

6,00,000 – 9,00,000 per annum (based on experience and performance).
