Position Overview

We are looking for a driven, proactive Business Development Manager to help grow our commercial renovation business. This individual will play a key role in lead generation, client management, project estimation, and strategic collaboration with our internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Sales: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial renovation space across the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, business owners, landlords, and developers.
  • Project Estimation: Conduct site visits, understand scope of work, and collaborate with our team to create accurate, competitive project estimates.
  • Trade Shows & Networking: Represent Octopus Renovation Group at industry events to build brand presence and generate new leads.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to shape outbound strategy, and with project managers to ensure a seamless transition from signed deal to project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in B2B sales or business development—preferably within the commercial construction or renovation industry
  • Could be as bonus experience with commercial project estimation and proposal writing
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple leads and accounts
  • Familiarity with the GTA commercial property market and construction process
  • Ability to attend in-person site visits and events as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Concord, ON L4K 1L4
