What you’ll be doing:


Are you a results-driven Business Development Manager with a passion for identifying new business and driving revenue growth? If so, join our dynamic team in Singapore and play a key role in expanding our business in the APAC region!


Day to day you’ll be involved in:


  • Strategy – identifying growth strategies in both new and current geographical markets, developing cross selling strategies and always thinking bigger picture; setting goals and objectives to grow the business regionally and globally.
  • Increasing revenue through client relationships – researching and identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships by being their problem solving ‘go to’ person and consistently following up with clients to ensure a superior customer service. You will also have the ability to cold call prospects, with a confidence to gain new clients while promoting all AT product service lines.
  • Marketing intelligence - monitoring the market, customers, suppliers, and competitors to ensure market intelligence is captured and used effectively in the business decision making process
  • Business information & reporting - preparing and delivering client account strategies and maintain market tracking database information, managing and creating a sales pipeline, contributing to financial budgeting, and forecasting exercises.
  • Teamwork – partner with colleagues to identify and deliver solutions to strategic, technical, service delivery, contractual and/or commercial challenges impacting client account performance and adopting a ‘One Team’ approach.

Some other things that will ensure success?


  • You have thorough technical and commercial knowledge of the subsea industry and the Ashtead Technology group’s product and service lines – survey and/or mechanical solutions (cutting, recovery, dredging etc)
  • You have a track record of delivering revenue growth through sales and business development led activities both domestically and internationally
  • You have a clear commercial instinct and a thorough understanding of value levers in contracting allowing you to win business and secure new business consistently and effectively
  • You are open, honest, friendly, and enthusiastic and can positively influence multiple stakeholders both internally and externally
