Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager within the Retail market

The person will bring to ecosystem a strong knowledge of TD SYNNEX products and solution portfolio and will be responsible to drive profitable market share growth through business planning execution, pipeline management, customer enablement and engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Management & Sales: generates and qualify leads, builds a robust sales pipeline, and actively pursues new business opportunities for mobile devices, accessories, services, and related solutions. Leads the entire sales cycle from initial contact to successful closure.

  • Partner & Vendor Relationship Management : cultivates and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with key mobile vendors (e.g., Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc.) and strategic channel partners. Negotiates advantageous terms and conditions to maximize profitability and market share.

  • Product & Solution Expertise : develops a comprehensive understanding of TD SYNNEX's mobile product portfolio and value-added services. Effectively articulates the benefits and value proposition of these solutions to prospective and existing clients.

  • Sales Enablement & Support : collaborates with internal teams (e.g., marketing, technical support, logistics) to ensure seamless delivery of mobile solutions and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Reporting & Forecasting: provides accurate sales forecasts, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepares regular reports on business development activities and results.

  • Event Participation: Represents TD SYNNEX at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, generate leads, and promote our mobile offerings.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

  • Experience: minimum of 3 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the mobile technology or IT distribution industry, with a strong understanding of the Italian market.

  • Sales Acumen: demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relationships.

  • Industry Knowledge : in-depth knowledge of the mobile device ecosystem, including smartphones, tablets, wearables, accessories, and associated services (e.g., MDM, connectivity).

  • Communication & Negotiation : excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels.

  • Language Proficiency: fluent in Italian and goof level of English (both written and spoken) is essential.

  • Technical Aptitude: ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts related to mobile solutions.

  • Self-Motivated & Proactive: highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Education: bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred

  • Travel: willingness to travel frequently within Italy to meet with partners, vendors, and customers.
