Korero mo te turanga - About the role
As a member of the Insights, Planning and Reporting team in Organisational Performance, this role will support work to meet government accountability requirements, planning and reporting activities. The team provides professional services, advice and support that directly contributes to our overall organisation performance and delivery of our work. This is a key role helping the team to meet deadlines, using strong relationship management skills, writing skills to facilitate effective communication and collaboration with our colleagues across LINZ to meet our obligations and deliver outcomes.
In a role where no two days are the same, you will see yourself doing:
- Utilise your knowledge and experience to demonstrate leadership and influence your colleagues and senior leaders in the areas of:
- enterprise planning
- financial and non-financial performance reporting
- supplementary estimates process
- external audit
- Draft and collate reports
- Coordinate the team's delivery schedules
- Support the delivery of our Annual Report
- Administer the internal policy review process and cycles
- Build relationships across LINZ at all levels to deliver planning and reporting requirements and deadlines
He pukenga tou - Skills & Experience
- Experience in organisational planning and performance reporting functions
- Exemplary written work, including memos, reports, cover sheets, and narrative writing
- Attention to detail as a `finisher' of important documentation
- Ability to collaborate with others and build relationships
- Meeting and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience with the machinery of government
- Ability to support and coordinate projects, working groups, and work squads
- Experience and knowledge of JIRA would be beneficial
The expected salary range for this role is $90,000 - $99,000 per annum
