Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies to meet company requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure cost savings and quality assurance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost efficiency.
- Prepare purchase orders, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Resolve supplier issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing procurement or buyer role.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is an asset.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and strong time management skills.
