Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their renovation needs, offering tailored cabinet design solutions that highlight functionality and aesthetics.
• Utilize SketchUp, 20/20 CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and lighting design tools to create detailed layouts and visual representations of cabinet projects.
• Conduct product demos and explain features to educate clients on materials, finishes, lighting options, and remodeling possibilities.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate products through inside sales techniques, upselling premium features and accessories to enhance their space.
• Manage the entire sales process from initial consultation to closing deals, including negotiation of prices and terms while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and maintenance of cabinetry projects.
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, project specifications, account management details, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions for accurate tracking.
• Support merchandising efforts by stocking displays, updating product signage, and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a seamless remodeling experience.

Experience

• Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within cabinetry, renovation, or construction industries.
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp, 20/20 CAD software, and layout design tools; lighting design experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to upsell high-end products effectively while maintaining positive client relationships.
• Knowledge of remodeling processes, interior design principles, lighting sales, and maintenance requirements for cabinetry projects.
• Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Excellent communication skills combined with organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with POS systems, retail math calculations, merchandising strategies, and basic math skills for accurate quoting and budgeting. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
