As part of a small team of woodworkers with a wide range of custom projects, daily tasks and responsibilities will touch on a broad range of skillsets; milling and dimensioning a variety of hardwoods, constructing solid wood face frame cabinets, hand cut joinery for heirloom quality furniture, finish prep as well as sprayed and hand applied finishes. Outside of daily tasks, team members are expected to autonomously manage small custom pieces from design stage to installation as well as work effectively with the entire team on large scale projects.
Minimum two years experience in cabinet/furniture making, finish carpentry and/or a comparable trade.
No formal education required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kent Bridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- carpentry: 2 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person
