About Us
Aurora Cabinets Ltd. is a custom cabinet and millwork shop building high-quality residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Everything is built in-house with a focus on craftsmanship, efficiency, and clean installs.
Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced cabinet maker with hands-on shop experience. This is not an entry-level role — you must be comfortable working in a production environment and know your way around cabinet shop equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate panel saw to cut cabinet parts accurately
- Run and maintain edgebander
- Assemble cabinets, drawers, and components
- Read and follow shop drawings and cut lists
- Prep cabinets for install (hardware, adjustments, final checks)
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in a cabinet shop (required)
- Experience using panel saw and edgebander (required)
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction
- Ability to read drawings and build accurately
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced shop
Assets
- Installation experience
- Experience with Blum hardware or similar systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
